HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Recoating a bathtub takes just a few hours. We can recoat your entire bathroom in less than a day.

WHEN CAN I USE MY RECOATED SURFACE?

The recoating will dry and be ready for your use in 24 hours. Upon request we can accommodate you with a 6-hour fast dry product that will allow you to use your new surface the same day!

How long after I commit to having Steel City Coatings do work for me does it take to get my refinishing done?
Depending on the time of year, we can usually perform services within a week.
Are there any reasons why it may take longer than one day to complete the project?
Yes, there are many reasons why it may take longer than one day. They include severe damage that may need a weld and 24 hours to cure, multiple coats for grout lines that soak up our glaze, or removal of our protective tape and drape. Mike will explain in greater detail when he is at your house looking at your project.
Are quotes free from Steel City Coatings?
Yes!
How do I pay for any work that is done for me by Steel City Coatings?
After the project is completed, we will send an email to you with a link to pay by credit card.

How do I go about activating my warranty?
Contact Mike through email, call, or text and he help schedule a technician to make any necessary repairs that are within the warranty description.
What does Steel City Coatings’ warranty cover?
The warranty covers fish eyeing, flaking, and chipping.

IS RECOATING SAFE FOR MY FAMILY AND PETS?

Yes, our Negative Air Ventilation removes any dust immediately from the areas. In addition, we cover and protect all adjacent fixtures and surfaces.

What should I use to clean my refinished tub, shower, or sink?
Steel City Coatings recommends Scrubbing Bubbles
Does Steel City Coatings take precautionary measures to protect my personal belongings and fixtures within my house?
Yes, we use painters’ tape and drop clothes to cover anything we do not want to get glaze on.
What colors do I get to choose from?
We can match any color from Sherwin Williams if we have a color code.
Does a custom color cost more?
Yes, ask Mike for a free quote
What areas does Steel City Coatings service?
We do not limit ourselves to any specific region in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Does Steel City Coatings travel out of state?
Yes, for commercial properties will send a team to refinish units.
I have a sliding shower door that I want to get rid of, can that be removed before it is reglazed?
Yes, we can remove the door and repair the holes prior to reglazing.
